How Agilio Software Brought Friendly Competition to Their Remote Team
Agilio Software invited The Big Smoke Events team to host the Virtual Horse Racing Event ‘At The Races’ as part of their remote end-of-year celebration. The goal: to create a high-energy, social experience that connected colleagues working across different regions.
The 110 participants were split into 22 breakout-room teams, each representing a department “stable.” Players placed virtual bets, strategised together, and erupted in laughter as their horses stormed the screen. The energy in each breakout room was electric – with teams cheering wildly and celebrating every victory.
To make it even more personal, Agilio named their horses after different internal departments, adding friendly competition and plenty of good-natured banter.
The Result:
A dynamic, laughter-filled virtual session that captured the excitement of a real racetrack – without anyone leaving their home office.
